Wonderful Whangārei

Three nights, four days, ten ladies and one brave gentleman. On the way north we stopped for morning tea at the delightfully quirky Eutopia Café in Kaiwaka, toured One Tree Point and Marsden Cove, had lunch overlooking the boats at The Marina Restaurant, and visited Whangārei Falls before checking in to the Distinction Whangārei Hotel.

Over the next few days we visited the Clock Museum, admired the art at the Hundertwasser Art Centre, explored the Town Basin and took a buggy ride through the Quarry Gardens. A coastal drive to dinner at the Parua Bay Tavern was the perfect finale.

Sunshine every day was the icing on the cake, and everyone came home with memories to keep.
